Heedan Chung is an abstract painter based in Scarsdale, NY. Her paintings express inspiration from both Long Island Sound and the Outer Cape, while referencing a lifetime of subtle memories remembered through light and color.

Growing up in Scarsdale, Heedan strongly expressed herself in the visual arts. She took instruction from a private community arts school during childhood, and was recognized for her talents from an early age. In recent years, she has re-integrated her painting practice back into her life.

Heedan holds an A.B. from Smith College and a M.P.A. from Columbia University. In addition to being a painter, she is an information architect.
